You can’t apply underwater.
What can it do for you ?

Search for diving jobs around the world
You can search for diving jobs by type (instructor, dive guide, counter staff etc) and country. Employers can be contacted direct or through the web site.
Upload your CV for employers to find
Job seekers can upload their CV or résumé in word format and add details to the web site database.
Post diving vacancies
Dive store employers are allowed to post one vacancy for three months on the site for free. An additional 999 job listings cost US$50.
Search job seeker’s CVs
Dive store employers may search and view the details of up to 4 job seekers for free. An additional 999 job seekers can be viewed for the same US$50 that buys you extra vacancy adverts.
Is it easy to use ?
Yes – the web site is powered by php-jobsite which has a lot of features. And no – there are a lot of attention grabbing adverts for other sites which can be confusing and it regularly goes offline.
Does it travel ?
No reason not to.
Is your personal information secure ?
Divers Jobs privacy policy states very clearly that “The information you provide in your job postings, including the contact information you choose to include, will be viewable by anyone who visits the Divers Jobs web site and should be considered “public” information.” and that “Divers Jobs is not responsible for employers, recruiters who re-disclose your resume information to 3rd parties without Divers Jobs’s knowledge or permission.”
Divers Jobs allows employers to browse up to 4 CVs for free and after that they need to pay US$50 to gain access to 999 more. This fee is the deterrant against non employers harvesting a lot of personally identifying information from CVs and potentially using it to spam you and your referees, steal your identity or damage your credibility.
With Divers Jobs there you have some control of privacy. You can paste your résumé into your profile so that all can see or upload a pdf or word version and use it only when you apply for a job through the web site. Obviously information in a confidential CV is not available for employers to search. But it is available to the people who run the site and they provide no information about who they are or where they are. The about page is left default from the software package and the contact page only has an email address. It’s important to know what laws and jurisdictions protect your data and who to contact in the physical world should something go amiss.
That said, Divers Jobs offers the unique feature of account deletion. If it does what it says (when we tried we got an error message saying something had failed and a success message saying account was deleted) then you can tidy up your account once you have found a job.
What do you agree to ?
Terms and conditions say that “Any visitor to the Web site providing information to Divers Jobs agrees that Divers Jobs has unlimited rights to such information as provided and that Divers Jobs may use such information in any way we may choose. Such information as provided by the visitor shall be non-confidential“
The terms and conditions are boiler plate. They do not mention the primary purpose of the web site and the ensuing rights and obligations of individuals and potential employers when sharing personally identifying information. Nitrogen Dreams is based in New South Wales, Australia so presumably Australian Commonwealth and NSW state laws govern handing of personal data. The terms and conditions state any web site disputes would be resolved under USA law.
Users
Unable to determine how many users. They are 25+ new jobs advertised each month.
We say
As with the other scuba job web sites, use it to browse listings but keep your CV or résumé to yourself until you find a job you want to apply for.
