Fins is the biggest diving magazine out of Singapore and covers diving across south east Asia and north Australia. The Finonline website includes a forum, information about destinations and events and an online book store as well as information about backissues of the magazine.
What can it do for you ?

Events listings
Fins publishes information diving events in South East Asia including opportunities to join world renowned photographers onboard and underwater in PNG and the Phillipines.
Blog
The blog is available in English and Thai and the contributor list reads like a divers whos who.
Forum
The forums are well used and while they have general discussions that are found on most they come with an Asian slant.
Book shop
Many books are published in Singapore that never make it to European or American book stores. You can buy them direct from FinsOnline who will email you back with shipping costs to anywhere in the world.
Is it easy to use ?
The only niggle is the floaty menus that need rather fine mouse use but other than that the site is well structured and easy to navigate.
Does it travel ?
Yes.
Is your personal information secure ?
The privacy policy states that you must be over 18 to use the site and confirms that the owners will not pass on personal information unless required by Singapore law. If you purchase a subscription or book then your credit card details will be retained.
What do you agree to ?
Readint the terms of service you agree not to use the site forums for anything illegal. If you purchase items then risk of loss passes to you once they are with the carrier. The site is managed by Xynergy Pte Ltd, publishers of Fins and Finsonline and is bound by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Users
There are nearly 3000 members, around half of whom regularly contribute to the forums.
Editor's opinion
Fins is a great magazine with fantastic photography. It makes sense to package event notifications and discussions about the area with the best selling magazine of the area. If you are going to travel to Asia then have a browse, sign up and ask questions of divers living there.
