What can it do for you ?

You can create a blog on the site, add blog entries and pictures. You can make friends with other divers with blogs on the site and read and leave comments on their blogs.

The front page includes headlines from ScubaHerald.com and latest jobs from diversjobs.com.

The site is run on BlogHoster sold by Webligo. Full functionality listed on Bloghoster website.

There are a little over 300 blogs registered with MyDivingLife but most of them have only a handful of posts and not logged in for over a year.

Editor's opinion

This off-the-shelf blogging software offers the standard range of blogging functions but seems to add little value for the diver. The community side of browsing other divers blogs is a great idea but without other common social networking functions it feels rather sparce. If you want to blog then you would be better off using a top quality blogging site like Blogger or LiveJournal. If you want to network with other divers and have a blog then try a community site instead.
