The review
Introduction
RebreatherWorld is a community website for rebreather divers. It contains forums, photo galleries and blogs.
What can it do for you ?

Forums
These discuss all and sundry about diving with rebreathers of all makes. There are extensive discussions on equipment and opportunity to post your items for sale or wanted.
Blogs
Community members can post blogs about their diving that others can read and comment on. This area of the site looks completely different from the rest.
Gallery
Community members can also post their diving photos in galleries for others to browse.
Is it easy to use ?
The whole website uses vBulletin which is quite straightforward to use. Before you register and sign in the large block of text means you have to scroll down to see any content on any page which is a little unfriendly.
Does it travel ?
The forum software is reasonable but the google maps will require fast internet access.
Is your personal information secure ?
The privacy policy states that your information will never be passed onto any third parties. The website is hosted in the US but is owned and managed by a UK company Scuba Flair so your data should be protected under UK data protection laws.
What do you agree to ?
Under the terms of use you agree to play nicely on the forums and not to open more than one account (using sock puppets). The medical forums are not to be taken as medical advise, you should still contact your own doctor.
Users
There are about 5000 registered members and 900 of these have positioned themselves on the google map of the world.
Editor's opinion
We are not rebreather divers here at ScubaFreebies but we can recognise a useful website for those that are. This has all the usual functions for a community website and looks well managed.
