What can it do for you ?
Forums
This is where Zendiving trips get organised? and discussed. There are also forums for travel, health and fitness, professionals, singles and for business sponsors.
Diving articles
There are a number of informative articles including how to put together a save-a-dive-kit, key points about servicing and maintaining equipment and what the diving agencies offer.
Store
You can buy all sorts of Zendiving merchandise in the secure shop. They have full range of t-shirts and sweats, mugs and even a teddy bear. They will ship worldwide.
Jobs
The jobs section takes a feed from diversjobs.com listing the latest jobs from around the world.
Buddy finder
Diving buddy members are pin pointed on a google map which you can click to find more information. 99% of them are within USA.
Photo gallery
Members may post their pictures in galleries for others to browse and comment on. Guests may not browse galleries.
Upgrade or donate
You may use Zendiving for free but you can better better service if you become a supporter. Supporting members can use the chat room and get more space for their photos and messages. For a little more you can turn off adverts (woo hoo!!), play games, and have your own private nutrition/fitness support group. Businesses may also sponsor the site and get their own forums, customisable photo gallery and ability to market to Zendiving members.
Zendiving also accepts one off donations if you are feeling generous and want to get your name in lights on the donators page.
Is it easy to use ?
The menus leave a little to be desired. The site uses a content management system and they have left some of the default links in which confuses things and articles seem to be linked off a number of different blocks in the navigation.
Does it travel ?
The functions should travel.
Is your personal information secure ?
The privacy policy from Zendiving LLC states that they only gather and store aggregate information to plan for best service. The shop is secured by SSL which protects your credit card information.
What do you agree to ?
Zendiving makes very clear on the front page that they expect respectful and couteous interactions between members so that everyone has fun and feels comfortable.

There are around 1000 members of the forum.
Editor's opinion
The mission statement on the front page makes this website stand out. The company who runs the site have really throught what they want for a community and the growing members show that divers like it. The opportunity for divers to contribute to the running of the site is a nice touch which gives members a sense of commitment to a community that is often missing in the free sites.
